If you know me then you know I could eat cheese on anything. This definitely isnt your grandmas green bean casserole but will quickly become a fan favorite. I like adding a little bacon to mine because you know you cant go wrong with cheese and bacon! And remember, dont be shy holiday calories dont count!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup - 10 1/2 ounce

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 cans of green beans (around 14 ozs each) can also use frozen or fresh green beans as well

  • french fried onions

  • Optional about 5 strips of cooked bacon crumbled

Directions

  • Mix drained green beans and mushroom soup together in a bowl.
  • Add half of your french fried onions in
  • Place mixture into a casserole dish, cover and place into a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes (or until mixture is bubbling).
  • Remove cover and top casserole with remainder of Fried Onions and the shredded cheese you can use cheese to your taste.
  • Optional - I like to crumble some cooked bacon and spread on top as well.
  • Return to oven for about 15 mins until your cheese is nicely brown. Enjoy!
