minutesIf you know me then you know I could eat cheese on anything. This definitely isnt your grandmas green bean casserole but will quickly become a fan favorite. I like adding a little bacon to mine because you know you cant go wrong with cheese and bacon! And remember, dont be shy holiday calories dont count!
Ingredients
2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup - 10 1/2 ounce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 cans of green beans (around 14 ozs each) can also use frozen or fresh green beans as well
french fried onions
Optional about 5 strips of cooked bacon crumbled
Directions
- Mix drained green beans and mushroom soup together in a bowl.
- Add half of your french fried onions in
- Place mixture into a casserole dish, cover and place into a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes (or until mixture is bubbling).
- Remove cover and top casserole with remainder of Fried Onions and the shredded cheese you can use cheese to your taste.
- Optional - I like to crumble some cooked bacon and spread on top as well.
- Return to oven for about 15 mins until your cheese is nicely brown. Enjoy!
